We identify the purposes for collecting personal information at or before the time of collection and obtain your meaningful, informed consent (express or implied, as appropriate) unless otherwise permitted or required by law.  You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us. 

• Contact Information: Name, email, phone number, mailing address, and organization details. 
• Aircraft & Aviation Information: Details about aircraft, ownership, operational preferences, leasing interests, or partnership proposals voluntarily submitted by you or potential operational partners. 
• Technical Data: IP address, browser/device information, usage data, and cookies. 
• Communications: Inquiries and correspondence sent to info@aviashares.com or through Site forms. 

We limit collection to what is necessary for the identified purposes. 

We use personal information to:

• Respond to inquiries and provide information about our fractional/timesharing aviation program. 
• Evaluate and facilitate discussions with potential aircraft owners and operational partners. 
• Operate, improve, and secure the Site. 
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights. 

We do not sell personal information.  Disclosure is limited to:

• Service providers (e.g., hosting, email, CRM, legal advisors) bound by confidentiality and security obligations. 
• Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law. 
• In the context of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards. 
• With your consent for facilitating aircraft-related partnership discussions. 

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. 

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no security system is impenetrable.  We are not liable for any unauthorized access, disclosure, or breach resulting from cyberattacks or other events beyond our reasonable control.  In the event of a breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law. 

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information. 
• Request correction of inaccurate information. 
• Withdraw consent or request deletion (subject to limitations). 
• Challenge our compliance with this Policy.

Information may be processed outside Canada.  We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. 

The Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age.  We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
